Dr. Christopher Seitz, MD

Medical Director · Mobile IV Therapy Phoenix

Every infusion ordered, every protocol used, and every nurse on our roster is overseen by Dr. Christopher Seitz, a board-certified emergency physician licensed in multiple U.S. states. He sets the clinical standard for Mobile IV Therapy Phoenix, reviewing our formulary and care protocols so that in-home treatment meets the same bar as any clinic visit.

Dr. Seitz earned his Doctor of Medicine from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He has practiced as an attending emergency physician across trauma centers and telehealth platforms, with roughly 5,500 virtual patient visits a year, giving him a broad, real-world view of acute and urgent care.

Beyond his work here, Dr. Seitz is co-founder, CEO, and Chief Medical Officer of Guardian Medical Direction, a digital-health platform he launched in 2021 to bring medical oversight and compliance to nurse-run clinics nationwide. He also serves as Board Chair of the American IV Association's Scientific Advisory Board, helping shape national best practices and research standards for IV therapy.

"An IV at home should be just as safe and just as well-supervised as one in a hospital. That is the bar I hold our team to, every single visit."

After more than a decade in emergency rooms, Dr. Seitz kept seeing the same pattern: people coming to the ER for things that were never really emergencies. Dehydration after a stomach bug. A migraine that would not break. Exhaustion from travel, illness, or a hard week. Patients waited hours and paid thousands, when what they needed was simple, fast fluid-and-vitamin replenishment delivered with clinical care.

Mobile IV therapy solves that. It meets people where they are, at home, in a hotel, or at the office, and delivers the same evidence-based hydration and nutrient support an ER would provide without the wait, the cost, or the chaos. For Dr. Seitz, this is the realization of something he has spent his whole career pursuing: making high-quality care more accessible and more human. That is the heart of why he serves as Medical Director here, because feeling better should not require a waiting room.
